To activate NSS within the Almaha Plus app, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings within the Almaha Plus app.
  2. Press the "Activate NSS" option.

If NSS is not yet active, follow these additional steps:

  1. Visit the National Subsidy System (NSS) website: www.nss.gov.om or download the mobile application from the link available on www.nss.gov.om.
  2. Follow the activation process provided by NSS to obtain your NSS card.

Download Al Maha Plus app from Play Store or App store and register by following the instructions. The App itself has three modules – 1.Al Maha Plus App rewards, 2. A free virtual Al Maha E-Rial (prepaid) card you can recharge online and use and 3. the NSS card, if you are eligible. To claim your points while filling fuel: Scan the QR code in your app or give the same mobile number as registered in the Al Maha App to the filler, so that your points are recorded every time.

All individual customers who use Cash, NSS card and E-Rial Card for payments are eligible for Al Maha Plus App.

You can have up to 5 virtual cards in the Al Maha Plus App.

E-Rial

The QR Share feature allows users to share their balance via QR code with others who don't have the app. Users can set the amount, QR expiry time, and share the QR code via social media. One QR code per day is allowed, and any unused credit is credited back within 24 hours. The last 4 digits of the number serve as the PIN.

In the Card Profile section, users can view and manage card details, set a PIN for the card, assign a name to the card, specify the type of fuel allowed (e.g., Diesel), set the card as the default option, and check the car plate number.

There are two top-up options available:

  • Bank Card Top-Up: Users can top up their E-rial card using a bank card from anywhere within the app.
  • Cash Top-Up: Users can visit the nearest Almaha filling station, where the filler will process the cash top-up transaction. Payment is made in cash at the station.

Rewards and Points

Points are accumulated through user transactions within the Almaha Plus app.

Accumulated points can be redeemed as coupons with partner merchants for various rewards.

See the offers page on the Al Maha Plus App to know your total points and how you can redeem points, the offers available to redeem, and the points required against each offer. Redeem an offer by selecting a coupon and pressing “Redeem” button. This will give you a redemption coupon which you can show at the merchant’s outlet. The merchant will enter the redemption code and you can avail the offer. To enter a lucky draw (Example: Win a Car) press the redeem button against the offer and you are automatically entered in the draw. After a redemption you will see that your total point balance has reduced accordingly. Points expire in 6 months, from the day you collect them, so ensure you use them within that period.
